Which underrated grape or region should more people know about? Loire Valley. I’m simply OBSESSED with Chenin Blanc from there, be it sparkling, still, dry or off-dry. Aged Chenin is a true treat. If you ever see it, try it!
What’s the one myth about wine you love busting in class? That there’s a “right” or “wrong” way to talk about wine aromas and flavors. If you smell it or taste it, it’s there because that’s your experience.
What’s one thing you want every student to leave your class knowing? They’re welcome in this industry, no matter their background.
You’re off the clock. Where are you going in KC and what are you enjoying there? XO Hifi for tea service or a glass of wine and that darn delicious edamame dip! I always love to see what vinyl they’re spinning. Such a good vibe.
